What makes a home earthquake proof?

These are a list of things that make a home earthquake proof:

• External walls are 6 inches thick. 
• Steel bars on the inside of walls.
• Reinforced concrete as the foundation.
• Hard soil under the home.
• Steel bars in the roof.

Outcome of our earthquake proof house:

It was not successful because it didn't have a flat base because by the time I started it I didn't have the resources I needed. Architects make deep foundations to keep tall buildings stable.

What went well today?
We finished the diagram and all I nees to do is help Kashaye with the paragraphs or discriptions on our volcano. We dont need any help except for the internet to research.

What went well today?
I started on my diagram about the tectonic plates under the Montserrat volcano. And Kashaye started writing a detailed description about how it was formed. I need help with presenting my diagram in a good way via colour use, other media. I will work faster next lesson
