These are a list of things that make a home earthquake proof:
- External walls are 6 inches thick.
- Steel bars on the inside of walls.
- Reinforced concrete as the foundation.
- Hard soil under the home.
- Steel bars in the roof.
Outcome of our earthquake proof house:
It was not successful because it didn't have a flat base because by the time I started it I didn't have the resources I needed. Architects make deep foundations to keep tall buildings stable.
