Week 2 Term 3 Visual Art

My kaupapa for this year is spiritual/cultural development. 

These are my concepts and I took inspiration from each of my artist models. Because 2 of them (Saul Bass and Luba Lukova) are very simplistic, minimalistic but effective orientated I didn't make my concepts TOO complicated and made sure to stick with my chosen colour theme. The blue flames represent 'Mahuika' who is a Maori fire diety and this is a reference back to my kaupapa. I thought the bottom in the middle line of concepts was effective and chose to develop more on that. The yellow ochre creates a nice contrast and because it is a complimentary colour of the navy I used it looks very nice.

I created primary, secondary and sub mark logos to show the variety of ways my logo could be presented instead of just a final concept. Showing variety of logo use will be good for future clients.

WORKING:
The flow in which I am getting work done. Should be on poster design by next week. 

NOT WORKING:
Haven't taken photos yet for mood board. Do ASAP!

NEXT STEP:
Do photos to finish mood board (Ticks achieved on 2.2) and start creating posters. Write second brief for achieved in 2.2. Blog planning pages for posters.
