This is my logo progress over the weeks. I think complimenting the blue with a yellow ochre looks very effective. I take a liking to the bottom right design and might use it for my final concept with some developments. I have put these concepts together after getting use to Adobe Illustrator. We learnt how to use the tools; gradient, text warp, image in text and the design principals. These are my practise pages of each technique.
With these techniques we were issued with a task to do a typography poster for based off a song from a list. From this list I picked, 'Sweet child o' mine' - Guns N' Roses. We dissected the song on what we could use for our poster.
Then we got to creating! Here is my final outcome.
ohh I am liking this, well done Michelle. Love the sweet child poster. Your logo really does benefit from adding the yellow ochre with the blue. there is a gas burning effect - blue and yellow, works on a colour level as well as that association of high heat burning.
